We are looking for feedback on Charlton Gateway, a proposed development on the Stone Foundries site behind Derrick and Atlas Gardens.

Our draft plans would:

• Make a major contribution to the local and borough economy, with a substantial business rate rise of £6.4 million per year and around £32 million gross value added (GVA) to help local council services.
• Improve the infrastructure in Charlton Riverside by helping to extend Herringham Road to the north of the site to connect with routes across the riverside.
• Look at reusing the waste heat generated by the data centre so neighbouring homes can benefit from it.
• Include new green spaces for the local community, including a park behind Atlas & Derrick Gardens.
